In your role as Environment & Safety Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will:

• ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management):

• Conduct workplace risk assessments and implement improvement activities.

• Manage safety and health training programs.

• Oversee Industrial Safety and Health Commission activities.

• Ensure legal compliance with safety and health management systems.

• Develop and maintain safety-related standards, rules, and references.

• ISO 14001 (Environment Management):

• Manage environmental training and environmental impact assessments.

• Conduct compliance assessments annually and monitor performance indicators.

• Oversee environmental risk assessments and eco-friendly initiatives (e.g., sewage quality improvement).

• Ensure the effective management of environmental performance indicators.

• Other responsibilities:

• Supervise facility and building maintenance related to water and wastewater systems, as well as hazardous materials storage.

• Oversee maintenance of machinery, including boilers, compressors, air conditioning systems, and related equipment, with a focus on operational safety.

Skills/Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in the electrical or medical manufacturing industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations and policies.
• Proficiency in analyzing problems and offering innovative solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Technological expertise in environmental inspections and related equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
• Experience with utility management is preferred.
• English proficiency is required.
