The Role:
- The position is charged with the responsibility to manage and execute import & export transportation and compliance management.
- Will be responsible for Customs brokerage for inbound, outbound, and bonded process and full compliance to the US, local, and other countries' export control, local customs, and trade regulations requirements.
- The successful candidate is expected to operate within the Company’s KPI in terms of compliance, safety, inventory, quality, cost, and delivery (C.S.I.Q.C.D) while practicing Company’s business ethic and Sox Controls requirements.
- He/she will report to Korea Logistics manager.
- Oversight of the distribution, movement and storage of finished goods from the manufacturing plant to the delivery of goods to the customers directly or internally (STO), by engaging with the plant, Sales, and other stakeholders to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Engaging with local authorities and ensuring Distribution Centers for Asia Hub are in compliance with the Imports, Exports and Warehouse Customs Laws.
- Revenue recognition, freight accrual report, freight billing verification and payments.
- Oversight of shipment Quality (measured by DPPM) performance.
- Freight spends management reporting in term of Percentage of Sales (POS). Monitor exception spending. Preparing monthly POS for Asia Hub.
- On Time Shipment (OTS) in term of Commit and Request date percentage reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procedures, programs and initiatives designed to achieve Operational Excellence
- Work as a member of various product development teams to determine packaging compliance and inventory storage requirements for new products;
- Interface with government agencies to pursue clarification of regulations, classification and valuation determinations, certifications and exemptions. DOT, IATA, IMDG, Import/export controls
- Audit key performance measurement of 3PL performance per contractual agreement, Entegris processes, policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure export, import regulatory and financial inventory control compliance. Keep track of the Country’s latest rules and regulations. Conduct regular audit and control to ensure compliance.
- Possess Min 8 years of experience in the related field in a Manufacturing environment and equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering;
- Ability to effectively communicate across teams/levels and influence/champion change in a matrix organization
- Competent, highly knowledgeable of US and local Export & Import regulations, compliance requirements, and global freight forwarding (both air and ocean) at a regional level.
- Licensed Customs Bonded Agent certified by Customs authorities or above
- Hands-on professional who is trained and certified by Customs and has Experienced with the Customs system and procedures.
- Possess business acumen with a strong process-driven and customer intimacy mindset.
- Good presentation, facilitation skills, and SAP user, Excellent in Microsoft Office
- Able to communicate effectively in English or other languages will be an added advantage
