Xilin was great to work at the management was very involved and helped me with whatever was needy to fulfill the position successfully.

I had a great time working at Xilin. The management was great and I learned a lot while I worked at Xilin. They gave us gifts at Christmas time and that was cool. They always had Lil snacks & drinks when come into the office to pick up or return things so I thought that was nice. It was a clean work environment and I enjoyed it

Unprofessional , incapable finance management

Unproductive , incapable finance management , smart people already left. Poor leadership. Bad work culture, Reward system is not aligned to motive and retain smart employees.

Productive and inspiring place to work

Company offers great benefits, you can learn a lot from senior and staff engineers. The culture is great specially in smaller design offices where you really get to know your colleagues and you will decide to spend time with them outside working hours as well. Sometimes can be stressful but its normal since they are industry leaders. You will be expected to solve a lot of challanging problems.

Keep most of the people underpaid if you dont negotiate during interview

Work wise not very advance tech but FPGA market share makes a profit making business. Overall xilinx is good place for kind of about to retire people. If you are energetic and ready to put effort to learn new things, this is not the best place.

some projects are exciting but overall many of the projects are left to languish after a few years and management needs to make sure there is a clear direction

Nice company but some stressful managers

Nice company and some management are really good. The company does efforts for team building and ea lot of events. Some managers do not have the experience /quality for dealing with people and dies the jib a little stressful.In general good environment with profesional people.

Great culture, then work you like a dog

Xilinx on the surface seems great. There is a good company culture, and everyone is very nice. On one hand, they throw cute parties and stuff to make you feel like they care. At the same time, they are working you to the absolute bone to meet their ridiculous schedules. It's sad.

Good Growth and unbiased

Good overall Growth if you are ready to do hardship.Smart and hard work is appreciated .Most of the people you will meet across the teams are ready to out of the way to help each other.Very good work culture.

As long as can finish the work.

Bosses are very kind. Free time to have a lunch as long as come back must complete the job. Quite a lot of benefit for the employees. Work balance even there are huge volume.

Culture highly dependent on team - organization is too political

The company was great when I started here, but has recently de-emphasized culture for delivering products, which have unfortunately not gained traction. It still has a lot of good people, but the politics has gotten much worse in my time there. There is no recourse for providing feedback on managers, and any feedback provided (even through HR) isn't taken seriously. That said, I did achieve some great things here. The engineering work was enjoyable when not sabotaged by artificial management deadlines. Most teams work with the India office, and the night meetings get very stressful week-in week-out.

Management changes direction often

people you know disappear out of the blue one day (layoff, fire) and seem normal. not much job security. pay and benefit is competitive. management not transparent with things and directions and throw a lot of curve balls.

The company promotes fun work environment, Gym onsite pinpong table, Basketball court. Free coffee and pastries.

Excellent work culture and environment. Growth and learning is unlimited. The company is very strong in emphasizing continuous motivation and teamwork implementation. Wonderful work culture and rewarding achievement be it personal or as a team effort.

Great technology & Great talent

Very interesting work. Incredibly advanced and complex technology. Smart, diverse, and talented people to work with. Good intentions, but inexperienced leadership team. Workplace culture is inconsistent group to group. Lack of investment in perks and people programs, so limited employee value proposition. Infrastructure and systems are behind the times - inefficient processes and practices. Great place to learn and develop skills. Intense work environment. Competitive learning programs, compensation and benefits.

Great Work, Old Culture, Impact Available

Xilinx is a good company, but of course it has many flaws. The work they do here is great and give decent compensation. About everything else is lacking, little work life balance, low sociability, very old community, they challenge new ways of doing things, poor cooperation and communication, poor programs for training & development, little to no job advancement opportunity. The #1 thing I liked most about Xilinx was that because it is a bit smaller of a company and because they are so behind in their ways, they are open to change. This allowed me to apply myself where I thought I could make an impact on the company and that effort be welcomed. The projects I worked on here gave me great experience, especially for things that I could put on my resume. I do not think I would have gotten the same quality of experience anywhere else.
