Provide technical support to field sales, distributors, and customers both remotely and in-person; generating tailored engineered judgments and job specific details utilizing sound engineering principles.

Provide on-site field supervision to support testing, programs, and key customer projects.
Assist in the design and evaluation of optimized Alkegen and customer specific systems.
Coordinate product testing and system certification conducted at independent labs.
Conduct training seminars for new salespersons, distributors, customers, and industry professionals.
Assist Sales and marketing team promote the products to the end user with the technical background
Attend industry meetings and participates in associations involved with the development of codes and standards that create demand for passive fire protection systems and Alkegen products.
Assist Application Engineering Manager, Sales, & Marketing Director. as necessary with general analysis and special projects.
Manages and initiates the creation of technical data and presentations to support the commercialization of new system introductions and existing business.
Maintains knowledge of and monitors competitive system offerings.
Develop basic presentation materials for educating customers on the use of lithium battery fire protection materials developed by Alkegen
Maintain AE database and global AE team communication
Obtains design form from customers or Sales Engineers to assist to complete application engineering requests

Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Typically, 3-5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering or application engineering. Background in electrical vehicle industry preferred
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
Experience in managing projects and delivering results within deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Understanding and addressing customer needs in the development process.
Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
