LUCID Vision Labs, Inc. designs and manufactures innovative machine vision cameras and components that utilize the latest technologies to deliver exceptional value to customers. Our compact, high-performance GigE Vision cameras are suited for a wide range of industries and applications such as factory automation, medical, life sciences and logistics. Our expertise combines deep industry experience with a passion for product quality, technology innovation and customer service excellence.

Field Application Engineer (FAE) who applies in-depth product knowledge of LUCID Vision's camera technologies to support sales activities at a technical and application level. The FAE will work closely with our customers to resolve technical issues, as well as interact with our sales team members to support successful sales outcomes. The FAE will be based in Seoul. Customers are served by phone and video, in exceptional cases travel to the customer may be necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide deep technical expertise for diverse applications such as factory automation, inspection, robotics, 3D, scientific, medical etc.
• Provide deep technical support and training to customers in their selection and use of LUCID Vision cameras to ensure a successful integration of the camera into their system.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance that focuses on design win strategies for key customer opportunities.
• Collaborate with LUCID Vision engineers and factory resources to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer's project managers, engineering managers, system architects and design engineers.
• Create presentations and demonstration material to help showcase LUCID Vision's products, tools, and methodologies that align with customer needs.
• Provide regular feedback to LUCID Vision's management team and factory experts regarding customer requirements.

Qualification/Education/Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentations skills and the ability to work with multiple groups
• Willingness to learn, research and engage in areas that the applicant is not familiar with
• Analytical skills to determine business prioritization and timelines with limited resources
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• Min +5 years of industry experience ideally with imaging, cameras, image sensors, and technical support (machine vision knowledge is a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of vision software tools for cameras designs - i.e VisionPro, Matlab, Halcon, Matrox, National Instrument, Pleora, etc.
• C, C++, C# programming skills and with Visual Studio debugging technique (OpenCL and/or Python experience is a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of Linux development environment
• Fluent in English, Korean and any other language welcome

주요 업무 및 책임

• 공장 자동화, 검사, 로보틱스, 3D, 과학 및 의료 등 다양한 응용 분야에 대한 기술적 전문성 제공
• 고객의 시스템에 LUCID Vision 카메라를 성공적으로 통합할 수 있도록 제품 선정 및 사용에 대한 기술 지원 및 교육 제공
• 주요 고객 기회에 대한 설계 수주(Design Win) 전략을 중심으로 기술 리더십 및 가이드 제공
• 프로젝트 매니저, 엔지니어링 매니저, 시스템 아키텍트 및 설계 엔지니어에게 기술 제안서를 개발하고 전달하기 위해 본사 엔지니어 및 기술 리소스와 협업
• 고객의 요구 사항에 부합하는 LUCID Vision 제품, 도구, 기술을 소개하기 위한 프레젠테이션 및 데모 자료 제작
• 고객 요구 사항에 대한 정기적인 피드백을 본사 관리팀 및 엔지니어에게 전달

자격 요건 및 우대 사항

• 뛰어난 대인 관계 능력과 프레젠테이션 능력, 다양한 부서 및 팀과 협업할 수 있는 역량
• 새로운 영역에 대한 학습 의지 및 스스로 리서치하고 주도적으로 참여하는 자세
• 제한된 리소스 하에서도 비즈니스 우선순위와 일정을 분석하고 판단할 수 있는 능력
• 전기전자공학 또는 컴퓨터공학 관련 학사 또는 석사 학위 보유
• 영상처리, 카메라, 이미지 센서, 기술 지원 분야에서 5년 이상의 관련 산업 경험 (머신 비전 관련 지식 보유자 우대)
• VisionPro, Matlab, Halcon, Matrox, NI, Pleora 등 카메라 설계를 위한 비전 소프트웨어 도구에 대한 숙련도
• C, C++, C# 프로그래밍 및 Visual Studio를 통한 디버깅 능력 (OpenCL 또는 Python 경험 우대)
• Linux 기반 개발 환경에 대한 깊은 이해
