Position Overview

  • We are hiring a Samsung account sales manager, who would be in a highly visible sales position responsible for winning business with Samsung Mobile.
  • This candidate will set the sales strategies for the accounts and be the leader to execute the plan through support from his direct report, regional office staff and resources, as well as through support from headquarters support staff and resources.
  • This is a fast-paced environment in one of the fastest semiconductor segments, the CMOS image sensor market.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in semiconductor Sales in the Korea region.
  • Proven track record of winning significant design win achievements in Samsung Mobile.
  • Deep and long list of first-hand relationships with key, influential decision-makers in Samsung Mobile.
  • Ability to persuade customers to break down barriers, achieve sales targets and ability to persuade internal management functional groups to support objectives.
  • Ability to handle product pricing, price negotiation, forecast & order management and revenue management.
  • Ideally, in-depth knowledge of CMOS image sensors, or imaging related products (e.g ISP, Lens, back-end SOC).
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English/Korean (Chinese is a plus).
  • Sales experiences with camera integrators is a plus (e.g. SEMCO, MCNEX, Partron).
  • Sales experiences on analogue & discrete components is a plus (e.g. PMIC, LDO, DC-DC, SBC, Switch).
  • Expert skill in communicating in all forms, verbal and written, to the customer base and internally to the company from line level personnel up to executive management.
  • Expert presentation skills to sell complex semiconductor products or technologies.
  • Open for international travel as required.
  • Self-driven and committed to hitting the KPIs. Ability to problem solve and produce results.
  • Bachelors degree in electronic/electric engineering or equivalent (Masters degree is a plus).
