About the location:

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is located in the heart of Seoul, offering world-class customized services and sophisticated features based on its craft and expertise. The Hotel, standing tall with 29 glittering stories, is meant to look like an ancient Korean palace of old, but stylized and brought into the 21st century. Classic Korean nature motifs and modern aesthetics adorn the décor, reflecting the surrounding mountain backdrop and views of Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces. The Hotel features 8 distinct restaurants and bars, including award-winning Yu Yuan and the secret speakeasy Charles H., ranked as the Best Bar in Korea and one of the Asia's 50 Best Bars. The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Restaurant & Bar Sales Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. We are looking for a candidate that is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests. This position reports to the Director of Food and Beverage.

Education

Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in sales, with a strong background in hospitality, particularly in F&B

Desired Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective networking and building relationships across various channels.
  • Expertise in problem-solving and organization.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Korean is mandatory, fluency in English.

Key Functions

  • Develop and execute strategic sales action plans to increase restaurant and bar buyout business and maximize covers, effectively leveraging booking platforms such as Naver and CatchTable.
  • Attend industry events like the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and major bar expos to network, gain insights, and promote hotel dining venues.
  • Cultivate partnerships with retail businesses and fashion brands for collaborative events at hotel dining venues, enhancing visibility and guest experience.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to monitor trends and competitor strategies in attracting restaurant and bar guests.
  • Organize and manage promotional events, themed dining experiences, and seasonal promotions aligned with market trends and guest preferences.
  • Exceed sales targets through a structured incentive program, rewarding exceptional performance with bonuses and commissions.
  • Enhance by working with the hotel’s PR team, the visibility and recognition of hotel restaurants and bars through targeted marketing campaigns, PR efforts, and social media presence.
  • Implement outlet-specific sales plans as outlined in the R&B Marketing plan.
  • Actively contribute to F&B division goals to achieve budgetary objectives.
  • Solicit corporate, MICE, and leisure segments for R&B business, maximizing up-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze competition regularly.
  • Maintain a professional image representing the hotel.
  • Collaborate with PR team on media channels and strategies to promote dining venues and attract new business.
  • Engage in community events to enhance hotel dining options' local profile and connections.
  • Refine TBFS (FS SKO’s guest loyalty program) specifically tailored to frequent diners, offering exclusive perks, previews of new menus, and special event invitations to enhance repeat business.
  • Work closely with chefs and beverage directors to curate seasonal and limited-time offerings that align with current trends and local flavors, driving interest and increasing covers.
  • Act as the primary touchpoint for VIPs and high spenders, ensuring their needs are met and preferences are anticipated.
  • Meet and greet guests personally, especially repeat and high-value clients, to build strong relationships and encourage loyalty.
  • Regularly interact with guests to gather feedback, understand their preferences, and make them feel valued, enhancing their overall dining experience.
  • Identify and flag VIPs upon reservation and arrival, ensuring they receive personalized service and attention throughout their visit.
  • Create and host networking events for regular customers to cultivate a community atmosphere and enhance business opportunities among guests.
  • Actively promote and tailor the hotel’s loyalty program through GreenCloud System to meet the specific likes and preferences of frequent diners, offering exclusive perks and personalized experiences.
  • Coordinate with the culinary and events team to offer special dining experiences for regular guests, such as private chef dinners, wine pairing evenings, or themed culinary nights.

Visa Requirements

Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
