The Role:
This technical leadership position will have tremendous visibility within the company, leading efforts to solve our customers’ most challenging problems and sell new opportunities. This role provides the technical selling energy for all new products, providing leadership for launches, commercialization efforts and guidance for technical support of Entegris’ SPI process solutions globally.
In this role you will:
- Primary role will be to serve as technical leader and lead the technical customer engagements and account team interactions supporting Taiwan and Asia SPI products promotion, evaluation and technical support
- Supervise team member's technical activities in full compliance with Entegris Innovation and PACE values.
- Create an environment of ownership and accountability for the individuals and team
- Guide R&D to develop new products that will meet customer CTC
- Work with BU Product managers to achieve product commercialization
- Insure quality support for commercialized products and evaluation samples
- Own customer evaluations to ensure sharp execution, so benefits of the results are aligned with customer buying motives and presented in a professional manner;
- Creating plans and actions to drive revenue and share growth for Entegris’ SPI process solutions globally
- Ensure/ provide the right level of technical and application support during customer qualifications and also support account managers on product presentations and technical discussions;
- Work with the Surface Preparation Business Unit and account managers to identify, develop, and prioritize the opportunities using Entegris’ value selling process to lead discovery and advocating phases of the selling process;
- Maintain customer installed CMP, Wet Cleans and Plating tools and Entegris product database(s);
- Leading and conducting regular reviews with customers to understand their ongoing needs and work with account managers to arrive at account management plan;
- Establish intimate customer relationships, becoming “Go to” surface cleaning technical resource for the customers in the region;
- Leading a team that train customers and fellow colleagues on relevant process solutions knowledge;
- Take ownership of product positioning, and life cycle management to maintain our market share;
- Drive, participate and advise technical oriented customer roadmap discussions
- Work with other functional teams such as Account Managers, Supply Chain, CTO, Quality, and Product Marketing etc. to support customers’ requirements and operations;
- Travel within Asia and other global locations may be necessary to support account managers.
- Cross-product teamwork to resolve Wet cleans, CMP, Post CMP cleans process issues, discovering opportunities for Surface material applications, while supporting liquid filtration/purification opportunities and issue resolution.
- Work with Marcom for product launches, technical roadshows and product promotion globally
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent technical field required; PhD degree is a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in applications and R&D engineering
- 15+ years of experience as an SPI equipment/process engineer in a wafer fab environment or a semiconductor equipment company required;
- Experience with Wet chemistry, Wet Etch, CMP and Post CMP Cleans Systems as well as wet etching process systems; experience with high purity liquid chemical delivery systems and wet chemical filtration
- Knowledge of SPC systems and Design of Experiments techniques
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present technical presentations;
- Excellent English speaking skills
