Divisional Logistics Manager

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Logistics Manager to play a crucial role in our Divisional Logistics team. This position entails overseeing supply chain operations and shaping our processes as we expand. The ideal candidate will analyze shipping costs and inventory to drive cost savings, ensure supplier and carrier compliance, and aid in crafting a robust logistics strategy. Your contributions will be pivotal in establishing a nimble supply chain, guaranteeing top-tier service for our customers.

As a fully remote role, you will support our Product Companies, STC's, and distributed manufacturing sites, although proximity to our Bundgang Office in Korea is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and scrutinize global transport data, overseeing expenditures of approximately $10M.
  • Formulate and execute inventory strategies, streamline processes, and identify cost-saving measures.
  • Cut transportation costs across different modes, enhance on-time delivery (OTD), and boost logistics supplier agility and cost efficiency, all while leveraging digitalization and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including finance, logistics, customer service, product companies, distribution centers, trade compliance, logistics council, and business areas. Also, guide logistics service suppliers in Asia.
  • Ensure business continuity, adaptability, and agility to meet market and geopolitical challenges.
  • Be willing to travel up to 10%.
  • This role is designed for individuals who are adept at navigating the complexities of global logistics and are committed to driving efficiency and innovation in supply chain management.

To succeed:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience with proven knowledge and application of the key principles & processes in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, transportation and inventory planning & analytics.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding standards, and Incoterms.
  • Must be a team player, enthusiastic, build effective working relationships and have the ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy on time.
  • Proficiency in databases, SAP, and logistics applications.
  • Create and deploy carrier score card and metrics to drive improvements and lower costs.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third-party stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate and analyse data to enable strategic and operational decision-making and present clear recommendations to leadership.
  • Proven track record supporting cross-functional geographically diverse teams.
  • Experience using excel at a high level, Microsoft Power BI, Proficient Microsoft applications.
  • Fantastic written and verbal English communication skills

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or logistics
  • Experience in logistics, (transportation, inventory and warehousing) required
  • Operational Excellence Execution:solve problems across the entire value stream with a lean mindset, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance productivity and quality
  • Project management experience
  • Must be a team player, enthusiastic, build effective working relationships
  • Must be results driven, have a deep respect for process discipline and demonstrate ownership and accountability.
  • Must have on the job experience working in SAP
