POSITION PURPOSE

The FP&A Analyst – Korea is primarily responsible for providing support Head of Finance to achieve the business objectives through effective planning and analysing activities including variance, comparative and trend analysis for market sales, gross margins and operating margins. Participate in the development, preparation, analysis and reporting of the market financial objectives.

The role reports directly to the head of finance– Korea.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one or more of the following degrees: Business, Accounting, Finance Commerce or similar.
• Professional qualifications: Chartered Accountant/CPA or equivalent recognised professional qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and escalate issues and process improvements
• Hands-on, practical problem solving and process improvement skills and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – both Korean and English.
• Experience with Netsuite and Retail Pro or Cegid an advantage

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide key financial support for business and plan reviews
• Run financial process- Monthly sales forecasting and performance tracking, Annual Budgeting and quarterly Budgeting
• Compare historical results against budgets and forecasts, and perform variance analysis to explain the gap in sales and PL performances
• Business partnering with stakeholders to drive business objectives
• Conduct deep dive sales analysis including profitability by store/ investment ROIC
• New store/relocations CAPEX analysis
• Analyze performance trends and provide commentary on sales, operating expenses and other key financial parameters to improve profitability as well as achieve financial objectives
• Closely work with Regional Finance
