Summary
Manage merchandise according to company’s merchandising strategy which reflects the brand image, sales target, market trend and client’s need in order to maximize sales opportunity while managing profitable stock level throughout product life cycle.
Job Description
Report to Merchandising Manager on all merchandising functions including managing sales, inventory control, product delivery, and store’s request. Also Support to Merchandising Manager on seasonal buying and product training for Women’s Leather goods.
Allocation
  • Daily distribution on Women’s Leather goods
  • Rebalance stock thru store to store transfer to maximize the sales opportunity
  • Set reliable indicator to monitor sales and stock status at store level
  • Track the movement of stocks and deal with deposit and client request
Inventory Management
  • Constant management of inventory, delivery and re-order situation
  • Review delivery plan with supply chain and monitor stock status for products in charge
  • ICT Merchandise WW level and follow up related to invoice
  • Collection Order
  • Buying support to Merchandising Manager
  • Order input/upload Women’s leather goods during the buying campaign
  • Permanent assortment review and mapping by store per season

  • Data processing and Batch report for the distribution
  • Store communication on stock request
  • Support products in&out (between store and store)
<Weekly>
  • Sales and Stock coverage analysis by category
  • Delivery status update for seasonal group
  • STS Reporting
  • Deposit report management
<Monthly>
  • Competitor research and analysis
  • Work closely with VM team on product launches and monthly floor-set
  • Stock transfer according to VM guideline
<Quarterly>
  • Support to buying campaign (Order input and adjustment in the system)
  • Seasonal Mapping file update
  • Products in&out to in-store event (including pop up) and store opening
  • Product training support
<Seasonally>
  • Store opening; Merchandising plan & allocation
  • Seasonal event (incl. in store)/pop up merchandising allocation
  • Monthly call with HQ Merchandising team
  • Partner effectively with cross functional team
  • Markdown / Price Analysis
  • Store visit with corporate team
Qualification
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English
Knowledge (including general and job specific knowledge)
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Good time management, able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Precision, strong time management and organizational skills
Skills (including technical and people skills)
  • Proficient especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to think logically with orderly manner.
  • Ability on using different interface (SAP and ERP) systems.
  • Attentive to details & result-oriented with flexible & positive thinking.
  • A team player with pleasant personality and the ability to work independently.
  • Dedication and good determination to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in fashion merchandising/buying role with international fashion/luxury brand companies, Women’s Leather goods experience is preferred
