JOB TITLE: Specialist_Quality Inspection

DIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)

REPORTING TO: Manager_SHEQ

LOCATION: Busan

We are looking for a candidate with a successful background in engineering, production/assembly, and contract handling as well as sound commercial judgement. Also, you should have experience in customer contact and negotiations

[MISSION]

• During daily operations you will be responsible for implementing the right product quality standards and necessary inspections from receiving, in-process, shipping inspections.
• By monitoring overall product quality daily and non-conformities you support and challenge continuous improvements of processes.

[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]

• Manage all activities related to product quality to ensure that the products provided are fit for purpose and meet both external and internal requirements. This starts with approved ITP (inspection and test plan) and certified order related quality dossier.
• Manage all quality dossiers. (ITP, Project quality dossiers)
• Ensure supplier quality of all components and non-conformities at shopfloor.
• Manage all activities of inspection with supplier internal/external.
• Conduct monthly quality lesson and learned.
• Conduct/support Sourcing regarding supplier quality and local supplier evaluation.
• Ensure that contents in manuals and procedures are maintained and updated on an on-going basis to ensure incorporation from the most current requirements and actual operation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production in identifying the root-cause of technical issues and recommend fixes.
• Ensure that QHSE programs are integrated into daily operations.
• Recommends to the SHEQ Manager on the appropriate corrective and preventive actions to be taken to meet set objectives and targets.
• Support system effectiveness of the Quality, Health Safety, Environment and Energy management system to meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 requirements and our internal guideline “The Way we do Things”.
• Support creating and maintaining a safe, injury/accident-free workplace and establish appropriate processes.
• Conduct / organize timely training and education for quality, Environment and Health & Safety to all employees.
• Support the SHEQ Managers in regards of customer complaint and subsequent corrective and preventive action.

[EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE]

• We are looking for a candidate with a successful background in engineering, production/assembly, and contract handling as well as sound commercial judgement. Also, you should have experience in customer contact and negotiations. Managerial experience is a prerequisite, knowledge in GAP products is of advantage.
• You are also familiar with standard IT software like MS Office, ERP system (SAP R/3 knowledge would be a surplus), CAD and PLM system (3DX is a surplus here)
• Comprehensive technical knowledge about design and production of tailor-made machines (assembly and welding processes, testing, NDT) and good computer skills including Microsoft O365 suite.
• University degree (or equivalent) in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, training/certification regarding Quality and IMS, excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
